Class 10 – Young Earth Creation
Tonight’s class takes a look at the position of Young Earth Creationists. These Christians use the Bible as a starting point to scientific discovery. Upholding belief in a literal 6-day creation event, the YEC model argues that the world is between 6 and 10 thousand years old, and that Noah’s Flood was responsible for the vast majority of the geological evidence. How does this position square up against Biblical and scientific evidence?

Intelligent Design – Class 9
This week’s class, we’ll take a close look at the Intelligent Design perspective. Intelligent Design (ID) is a scientific theory which holds that certain features of the universe and living things are best explained by an intelligent cause and are not the result of an undirected chance-based process such as Darwinian evolution. Is there good scientific evidence that there is an intelligent designer of the universe and of biological life?

God Created – How? -Class 6 (Part 2)
Tonight we’ll dig in Genesis 1:1-2:3 to understand what this key Scripture teaches about how everything began. Do we interpret these verses literally, symbolically or as myth? How do we know? Does “day” mean a 24-hour day or an “age”? Again, how do we know? We tackles these questions and more.

God Created – How? – Class 5 (Part 1)
Tonight and next week, we’ll discover what the Bible says about how God created the universe and everything in it. Our goal for these next two weeks is to let the Scripture speak for itself about the beginning, not question how it fits with scientific findings. We’ll do that soon enough.
